Live Seahorse Tank Camera

This tank is being fed live from The Seahorse Trust’s centre at Escot in East Devon. The Seahorses are Zebra Snouted Seahorses (Hippocampus zebra) and have been bred at the centre. Also in the tank we have bright red Fire Shrimp and Dancing Shrimp which act as our clean up crew in the tank, helping us to keep the tank clean. You will also see small shrimp swimming around which are called Mysis Shrimp which are lunch dinner and tea for the Seahorses. These shrimp live in large numbers in estuaries and members of the trusts staff fish for them daily to make sure the Seahorses have the best possible health and food.
